Rebecca is an experienced presenter featuring on ITV, 5 News, BBC Radio 2, BBC London, LBC and Sky News. She has discussed the Oscars, the BAFTA Awards, the Golden Globes, the state of the Hollywood film industry and how technology has affected the movies we watch today.
Most recently, Rebecca has appeared on ITV’s Weekend, hosted by Aled Jones, as a guest TV and Film critic giving her views and opinions on the weeks biggest shows. She is also the lead presenter for the newly launched Microsoft Band, demonstrating the benefits of wearable technology as well as featuring as joining the team on O2 Guru TV as one of their technology expert presenters.
Rebecca’s passion for film has lead to her teaming up with film site Flickering Myth (2 million site views per month). She co-anchor’s its hugely popular movie show, FMTV; expanding her expertise to not just the latest film releases, but also everything that geek culture has to offer, from comics to the funniest memes on the internet and even causing a stir with her controversial thoughts on the much loved Avengers franchise. Rebecca also runs her own YouTube show The Reel Deal, discussing the latest film releases presented at the Clapham Picturehouse cinema.
But when she’s not talking tech or movies, Rebecca has also established herself as a featured newspaper reviewer on BBC London, joining the radio team on a regular basis to give her opinion and debate on what’s happening in the UK at that time. Rebecca has also hosted the London 2012 Olympic Artistic Gymnastics test event in-front of a six thousand strong audience at the O2 Arena, she has also been the face, producer and writer of Millie’s Cookies TV show Freshly Baked, a reporter for Maverick TV’s Dating Dilemmas with TOWIE’s Lydia Bright and has interviewed some of the biggest Formula 1 drivers including Mark Webber for racing channel Pole Position.
Rebecca is also very experienced at autocue and an established voice over artist, voicing various corporate, ADR (Penny Dreadful and Danny Boyle’s Babylon) and educational projects as well as a wide variety of video games including Black Gate, Sleeping Dogs and Rambo. Rebecca is also currently the voice of Runescape character Kara Meir.
